The Splat Trivet is the perfect addition to any kitchen. She can handle all the hot stuff! Each Trivet is drawn out freehanded to create one of a kind shapes for every Trivet and composed of offcuts from the studio. 
Please note: Each piece is unique and will vary in overall wood species. We cannot gauruntee a certain amount of any one kind of wood in each trivet.
 
Sizing:
Roughly 8in length x 7in width
.25in thickness
(please allow for slight variation in sizing from piece to piece as each piece is hand cut and sculpted)
 
Finish:
All trivets are finished in cutting board oil comprised of beeswax, pure mineral oil, coconut oil and Vitamin E.
Our go to food safe finish is Walrus Cutting Board Oil and Wood wax.
 
For longevity of moisture in the wood re-applying a wood wax periodically is always a great idea!
If under consistant use We recommend re-oiling/waxing every 3-4 months as heat can dry out your trivet over time.  
If your trivet gets dirty:
- Hand wash with warm lightly soapy water until suds run clear
- Let Dry vertically to avoid water settling under the board
- DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. (the wood gods will cry)
