The Splat Mat is a classic Oddball foodie feature item! Made for all things kitchen, dining, and entertaining. Use her as a serving tray, a charcuterie board, a catch all tray, or, our personal favorite, collect 4 Splat Mats and use them as the most beautiful and unique chargers for your dining table.
Each splat mat has a 1.25in hole cut from one of its wavy edges. This acts as a design feature, a carrying handle, and a way to hang it when not in use 
following the arch of the cut hole are playful hand punched 80's and 90's sayings.

Splat Mats are hand cut organic shapes. Please allow for slight variation in final shape as we do not use templates for these designs  in order to keep items as one of a kind as possible.

Organic/assymetric shape roughly- 13in x 10in
Thickness- .50in
(please allow for slight variation in sizing from piece to piece as each piece is hand cut and sculpted)
 
Finish:
All cutting/serving boards are finished in cutting board oil comprised of beeswax, pure mineral oil, coconut oil and Vitamin E.
Our go to food safe finish is Walrus Cutting Board Oil and Wood wax.
 
For longevity of moisture in the wood re-applying a wood wax periodically is always a great idea!
If under consistant use We recommend re-oiling/waxing every 3 months. 
- Hand wash with warm lightly soapy water after each food use. 
- Let Dry vertically to avoid water settling under the board
- DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. (the wood gods will cry)
